Sunny Sunday Funday!

Yogis!

I can't believe the weekend is coming to an end already. Although I have to say this was quite the productive weekend. Today was another brisk day in Chicago, thankfully the sun was out and it reached into the double digits for part of the day. Managed to make a trip to the gym this morning and it appears that those that have made New Years resolutions to go to the gym regularly are slowly fading. Come back! I love the busy and chaotic gym environment. Seriously when it's appropriately crowded in there, the energy rush is amazing!

Relaxing for a few while I write today's post.

Today I actually sat down and got comfortable for a few, for those of you that really know me you know that never happens. I wanted to read some pages in one of the yoga books that I've been reading that was suggested by one of my TT friends. It's called, Living Your Yoga. Secretly I was hoping to get some inspiration for this upcoming week's classes. I started working on my sequences this week and my goal is to come up with a more creative song list as I typically lean towards U2 and Florence and the Machine. Can you blame me?

A great read, especially if you are on your journey to teacher training.

I am already planning out my week as this weather looks like it's not going to get any better and the less that I have to drag out the munchkin the better! She loves going out, but I swear kid's skin really takes a beating from this Chicago cold and dry, ridiculously windy weather. As a typical vinyasa flow yogi, I'm a serious type A and I thrive on organization. I have the whole week's worth of meals planned out an a grocery list to follow. Am I the only one that despises grocery shopping? It's funny because I love shopping but it always seems like such a task to go grocery shopping trying to convince myself that we really don't need another container of Trader Joe's dark chocolate covered almonds... hahaha. I swear this might have been my best TJ's find ever!

Now I'm going to be dreaming about those almonds. Nothing new!

Sleep well, yogis!
