Well hello, my fellow sweet tooths!  Who doesn't love something cold and refreshing in the summer time? I've always been a huge fan of ice cream, but as I get older I realize my digestion might not be as much of a fan as my taste buds are. Dairy and sugar in high amounts leave me with stomach aches. Naturally, I've found ways to satisfy my cold, sweet, ice cream truck craving in different ways.

This banana ‘ice cream’ was made just by freezing bananas and putting them in a food processor. Can you believe it? It’s so yummy, and will definitely satisfy you and even your kiddos. You can add cocoa to the mix, or even strawberries and nuts over the top. It’s such a healthy, simple treat that anyone who loves bananas and ice cream will like it.

Keep in mind, bananas are full of potassium, magnesium, vitamin B, vitamin C, fiber, biotin, and copper. Oh and they are good for your heart, digestion, and athletic performance. What is there not to love? Enjoy!
