Our Favorite Self Care Rituals
Earlier this week we gave you tips on how to start a self care routine for yourself. Now we want to share with you our favorite self care rituals for physical, mental, and emotional health! Which will you try this weekend?
1. Yoga is obviously a team favorite, but we all have different styles that we enjoy most. If you are new to yoga, speak with a teacher or studio that offers several styles to find what works best for you!
2. Healthy Cooking is not only great for your physical self, but putting some time and attention into preparing your meals can be mentally therapeutic as well.
3. Aromatherapy can be used for almost any ailment, but don't forget to employ your oils for preventative care too! Diffuse a citrus blend to boost mood or a soothing lavender blend before bed to help you sleep more soundly.
4. Reading a great book can help relax you, inspire you, or even keep you mentally sharp. Whether it is a self help read or a great mystery, indulge yourself and read a little bit each day!
5. Spending time with friends and family is emotionally beneficial by boosting your mood and helping to relieve stress. Break some (whole grain) bread with your favorite people and reap the benefits!
